This is my magazines first draft. This includes all of the pages and feedback from my peers on how I can develop and improve my final piece.
This is first draft of my magazine front cover. I have received a lot of helpful feedback in order to improve my final product.
My feedback includes these comments:
This front cover looks a little bit empty and I would advise you to add in more stories and more articles to help fill the space on the page.
I like the colour scheme that the front cover has but I think it looks a bit like a poster instead of a music magazine cover. To change this I think that you should go back to your research to see what is different between your magazine and your research.
I think that the magazine cover could be improved by working on the layout as in some areas the alignment is off. I like how you have also used different lines, colours and shapes.
This feedback has really helped me to start making bigger changes to my magazine front cover. I intend to work on this feedback to improve my magazine. Looking back at my research I have decided to add in some shapes and change the colours of my font more often to make the articles look more interesting to the readers.
This is my first draft of my contents page. I have recieved feedback from my peers on the page whch will help me to improve the final product.
My feedback comments are:
I think that the page has a good layout and I also like the use of having three pictures. The only thing that I would change would be having three different images in the boxes rather have all three of one model as I think that this makes the focus to strong on your main artist. I thinkt that this will help to show the variety in your images.
I think that you could resize your font so that you can fit in more stories onto the page. I like the idea of putting the up top singles down the side of the page as I think that this links in well with the idea of a msuic magazine.
I like how you have continued the colour scheme on to your contents page, I would change the inside colour of the exclusive box to maybe a grey or white as the colour of it at the moment is different from the red, black and grey scheme. I would also add in the links to the social media pages to make it easier for the audience to find the magazine online.
I found this feedback to be very helpful and it has given me more ideas on how I can further improve my final product. I will take this feedback into account and do the best I can to change and imrpove the comments. I went back to my research to see if I could alos add in more things to help fill up some space on the page. I am now looking to add in another box which will help to make my page look fuller and more interesting to the readers.

This is the feedback I received:
The double page spread looks very good but i think that you could make changes to the alignment because if you look closely at the columns they are not the same size. I think that thi will help to improve the appearance of the pages.
I think that the title is good and I like the way the page have been set out. I think that the image works well with the article but I think that you could add in shapes and more images to make the page look less blank and more eye catching. I think that this will draw in readers and hold their attention.
I think that you could add in small tweaks to the pages by adding in "exclusive story" or "interview" so that the pages look like they are from a magazine. I think that this would help the readers find the page in a magazine. I like how you have also kept the colour scheme throughout the whole product. I think that you have used strong colours to show the music genre well.
I think that this feedback is helpful and I can make the pages better by making these changes. To help me I also went back to my research to see what else I could add into my double page spread. From looking at the research I have got some ideas of what else I could use in my magazine. I intend to make these changes to improve my final product.
